Thus far, the group has been fortunate to have the following individuals, specifically Samuel Davis, Samuel Hill, Bob N. Graham, and Cleveland E. Flowe, serve as Directors.
The group consists of twenty-two men that convene on a weekly basis for rehearsals, with the objective of creating a harmonious fusion of male voices.
The Pi Phi Ensemble demonstrates their skill in a variety of occasions, including District Meetings, Grand Conclaves, and performances in Charlotte, N.C., and nearby cities. In addition, they have had the privilege of performing the National Anthem prior to former NBA Charlotte Hornets basketball games and at home basketball games for Johnson C. Smith.
